We Are the Best of Its Kind!
ChandlersWatch.com

At a time of large-scale unemployment in The United States, our own Federal Government is pushing American businesses to move South of the border into Mexico.
This is simply just astounding. What is wrong with our so called leaders? Some of our politicians and civic leaders have no shame! And this Mexiport expo event has nothing to do with anything being green. Remeber folks, green is the new red!

MEXPORT has been around for twenty years and is the premier cross-border trade show in the booming Southern California/Baja California region.

You Can Afford It!
Organized by a local leading organization interested in promoting business opportunities, the Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce, MEXPORT is the most affordable and effective show in the region. Booths are only $775 ($615 for Chamber members)

Timing is Perfect!
Almost 1,000 manufacturing companies are established in Baja California. In Tijuana alone, this industry grew by a dramatic 12% (June 2005- June 2006) fueled by the automotive, electronics, chemical, metal and medical device industries.

EVENT OVERVIEW

MEXPORT, the premiere buyer/seller trade show, is held every summer in California’s most important commercial gateway into the U.S. and Mexico: Otay Mesa, a vibrant industrial region within the City of San Diego.

Exhibits cover a full range of industrial goods and services for the burgeoning maquiladora industry, from electrical components, metal stamping and precision plating, plastic and metal custom molding, industrial supplies and equipment to packaging materials and complete warehousing and logistic services, among others.

MEXPORT is supported by a number of business organizations and institutions such as the World Trade Center, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Department of Commerce, Small Business Development and International Trade Centers, the City and County of San Diego and our partner organizations in Baja California: AIM (Asociación de la Industria Maquiladora), AIMO (Asociación de Industriales de la Mesa de Otay), CANACINTRA, CANIETI, the Government of Baja California and several business organizations throughout the Southern California/Baja California region.

    Your comment make no sense.

This show is primarily to introduce U.S. manufacturers to potential customers in Mexico.

There probably will be some exhibitors who will be talking about the opportunities in Mexico to lower production costs. U.S. manufacturers need to lower their costs unless U.S. consumers want to pay higher prices. The choices are Asian production which means that everything in the product will come from Asia or Mexican production which normally has a large amount of the product content coming from the U.S.

There are long time studies which show that for every job created in Mexico’s production industry, 5 jobs are created in the U.S. to support that one job. For every job created in China, zero jobs are created in the U.S.

LRL the problem with your train of thought is that at this point in time our economy is clamoring for any and every job that America can get. So to ship production jobs or any other kind of job out of this country and into another is not a good thing.
If Mexicans want a better country then they need to do we we did years ago and make their own country better, not sneak across the border for jobs that they do not deserve; and yes they do not deserve them because they are here illegally. If they want production jobs have them open a manufacturing company in Mexico and if someone wants to buy the stuff that they make great, if not they should try again until they get it right.
For any American organization hold an event that will do anything to ship jobs out of this country is a BLUE FALCON!!!
