Father JMost of my readers are familiar with my Catholic roots mainly due to me mentioning my faith in Jesus in just about every BTR talk radio show (Infidel’s Watch) I co-host on Monday nights. My Catholic faith is at the core of my being and has formed exactly who I am today. Someone once told me, “God doesn’t blog or twitter so stop pushing your prayers on deaf ears”. Well, I offer you this. If the Holy Spirit answers’ a prayer and a person shares that information via any media outlet, and their words change just one other person for the better, that is in fact, God blogging. The Holy Spirit comes to us in many ways.

Back in 2005, when I started my blogging and looking for “The Truth” in our main stream media, I had the pleasure to catch a glimpse of Fr Jonathan Morris on Hannity & Colmes on Fox News. Way back then, which now seems like a thousand years ago, I was overcome with so much hope and peace listening to Fr Johanathan Morris speak about not only the Catholic Church, but social, political and other matters that in many ways, shed so much light and answered the questions I had in the pit of my soul that I have always sought to be answered, concerning the events of our time. It was an absolute blessing from the Holy Spirit, to see Fr Jonathan Morris answering questions regarding how moral and ethical issues truly are at a crossroads in our American society. Back in the day, I didn’t often see a Catholic Priest on TV. Especially a top rated news outlet. I felt as if the Catholic Church was finally on to something big.

It was a blessing to see such an influential spiritual person as Fr Jonathan giving hard hitting advice, without any spin, and nothing but truth. I consider Fr Johanathan Morris to be a true Spiritual Patriot.

From 2002 to 2004, Fr Jonathan worked as a theological adviser in the making of Mel Gibson’s motion picture The Passion of the Christ , whom the devil himself, hated, according to the chef exorcist of the Vatican in this short clip from Hannity & Colmes:

In regards to the violence of the movie, Fr Jonathan told a German magazine:
Quote: “Yes, the suffering and pain in this film is hard to watch, and just as hard to forget. What we remember, however — what sticks with us — is not the senselessness of gratuitous violence that we find in other films, but the high price of sin and the immensity of Christ’s love.”

In May 2009, Fr Jonathan began a recurring segment for Fox News Channel’s comedy show Red Eye. For this segment, called Father Jonathan Knows Best, Father answers questions from viewers on religious and faith-related issues. He is also a regular news contributor for the show.

Since April 2005, Fr Jonathan ‘has been interviewed on several Fox News Channel programs, including Fox & Friends, Dayside, Hannity and Colmes, The Live Desk with Martha MacCallum, and The O’Reilly Factor,.

He has also contributed to the Fox Business Network and Fox News.com’s on-line news roundtable, “The Strategy Room.” His work with the network has resulted in him offering analysis from a variety of locations, particularly those that had an ethical, social or religious element to the story.

In November 2005, when Paris, France, erupted in violent and fiery protests by young Muslim men and immigrants, Fr traveled to Paris and interviewed Muslim youth about what was precipitating the riots. While there, he also secured an exclusive interview with the Imam of the Grand Mosque of Paris.

His personal website (here) has been a daily blessing for me, along with the opportunity to follow him on twitter, Along with Facebook

With following Father on Facebook, I have come to find he has a knack of posting a group of news stories from around the media globe, that you just don’t get the chance to hear about, along with stories that are top headlines in the main stream.

Kudos Fr Jonathan, for getting the word out for the common good and being a Patriot in the Catholic Media of our time.

God bless you!

Er…have you googled “Legion of Christ” lately? That’s the group of priests to which Fr. Jonathan belongs. Google their founder “Marcial Maciel” too.

The LC is undergoing a “visitation” (i.e., investigation) by the Vatican, so that is cause for concern. But I believe Fr. is a good man. There is nothing wrong with the Vatican investigating the LC if “Something” was causing concern.

Chandlers Watch, The Radio Show, was born in 2007 by two Marines that wanted to fulfill their oath to defend this country against all enemies, both foreign and domestic and to preserve our Constitution. Today, we promote the Corps values and leadership principles, that the Marine Corps instilled in us, to the American people in an entertaining way.
