First Lady Requires More Than Twenty Attendants
Mrs. Obama…you are NOT the queen of the United States. You are the First Lady of the United States. Your “Let them eat cake” attitude and actions are not acceptable. Now if you want 22 staffers to cater to your every whim I suggest you pick up the bill for some of these staffers yourself. I mean seriously, I get that the role ( it’s not an offical job by the way) is stressful and busy and you need a few people on staff to help you forfill that role in a professional manner but 22 staffers? And this doesn’t include the staff to attend to the children even….

No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn’t perform any official duties. Just think Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary.

This is disgusting. What gives her the right to have this many staff members at our expence? Did she not manage before without an entourage to cater to her little whims. There again is the “let someone do it for me” attitude. no wonder this country is becoming more and more complacent, wanting to get a check to do nothing. Was this part of the “stimulas” package? Maybe they are in theirself so stupid it takes this many to get a task done. People should start to wake up and see what is happening right before their eyes. It is only going to get worse if these politicians and their relatives are free to spend as they wish.

Nothing would make me happier than to see these two sitting on a coner begging for bread as these two Obamas have put many americans in that situation and many more to come. I have worked and payed taxes all my life, now I am out of a job as a direct result of the Obamanomics. No work equals no taxes. Who is going be left to pay for all these new programs?

Folks need to understand this isn’t Republicans and Democrats or Democrats and Republicans, its all about them and us…. We the People in our infinite wisdom have elected 535 representatives which we thought would represent us. However they have chosen to fill their pockets from the graft derived from pork barrel recipients. Are you happy with this outcome?
Personally I wrote to my Senators when the Social Security Prescription Plan was pushed through under the Bush Administration and also resigned my membership to AARP when they announced their endorsement to that plan. I’m an old guy, they aren’t gonna get to much more from me, but my kids are going to have to pay for the continuing giveaways that seem to only become larger and more frequent. Our Senators and Representatives, period, no single party, have allowed themselves to come under the influence of Spending Highs and we need to convince them to kick the habit or move on!
Time to stop taking sides and begin replacing life long career politicians that are stealing the futures of our heirs. With 350 million of us out here doesn’t make sense that we should be led around as though we have a ring in all our noses. Complaining to one another does no good. Dictating to those we sent to DC should have some affect or they should be replaces.
I suggest we quit arguing with each other, neither of us can change the spending bills that are being written, but together we can change those that are writing those bills.
