8 of the State for July 26, 2008

Posted by Howie On July - 26 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

Here is the Eight of the State for this week, July 26th, 2008:

1. Denise Ward – You are just lucky that Hussein Obama is a bigger Blue Falcon than you are!
2. Keith Olbermann – And I thought that the liberals wanted to help the poor, starving people in Africa?!
3. Julio Castillo – I hope he never plays another game as long as he lives!
4. David Do – I bet this guy couldn’t even tell me why the Iraq War is illegal!
5. Kwame Kilpatrick – No wonder Detroit is a screwed up town!  This is their leader!
6. Zoe Lofgren – Typical liberal attorney, doesn’t know crap about helping the American people.
7. Toi Whitfield and Quiana Pugh – Sorry girls, they are too busy hiring illegals to do your jobs!
8. Global Warming?

The Blue Falcon of the Week

bluefalcon3The Blue Falcon for this week, July 26th, 2008 is:

Sen. Barak Hussein Obama!  Congratulations, sir!

At a speech in Berlin on Thursday, Obama said, “Will we acknowledge that there is no more powerful example than the one each of our nations projects to the world? Will we reject torture and stand for the rule of law? Will we welcome immigrants from different lands, and shun discrimination against those who don’t look like us or worship like we do, and keep the promise of equality and opportunity for all of our people?”

So is the junior Senator from Illinois suggesting the the impression that America projects to the world is that we torture and do not follow the rule of law?

Then the next day, Friday the 25th, while speaking at a presser in France, Obama said, “Let me just remind everyone that I’m not the president.  I’m a United States Senator. I’m a candidate for president. There’s a wonderful tradition that’s not always observed, but I think it’s a good one. You don’t spend time criticizing a president of the United States when you are overseas.”

So you are telling me that I shouldn’t criticize the President OR HIS POLICIES while speaking abroad, but it is okay for you to do it…indirectly or otherwise?  Is this the ‘powerful example’ that you speak of?

obama-sharpton1I also took note of Obama’s lack of loyalty to his country by the following statement where he claims that he is a “citizen of the world.”  In Berlin, Obama said, “I come to Berlin as so many of my countrymen have come before. Tonight, I speak to you not as a candidate for President, but as a citizen – a proud citizen of the United States, and a fellow citizen of the world.”  True, Obama (and myself) are human beings on this planet, but we are not ‘citizens’ of this world.  That notion is a precursor to a one world government.  A very dangerous idea.  I am a citizen of the United States of America.  Not the United Nations, NATO, or any other ‘global movement’.  This citizen of the world idea is usually promoted by socialists and NOT by Americans.

The ‘powerful example’ that I see ‘projected’ at me is that of an intellectually dishonest, morally corrupt, double speaking politician that will say anything to make people like him instead of doing what is right for America.  The ‘powerful example’ that Obama ‘projects’ to the other nations of the world while he runs for President is the reason he is our Blue Falcon of the Week!

What Bush and Batman have in common

Posted by Chandler On July - 25 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

sept14bushflagwtcbeckThis article definitely articulates the moral qualities that it takes to be a leader.  The greatest thing that Bush has going against him is that he is inconsistent as a leader on national defense.  On one hand, he is very pro-active on rooting out terrorism and killing them where they hide.  But on the other hand, his record of defending the border is just dismal.  This Marine has a really hard time comprehending how he can separate the two.  To me, they are one in the same mission.  But then, Bush is a globalist.I guess the best leadership trait that President Bush does possess is courage.  He has had tremendous courage to continue his commitment to destroying terrorism where ever it may try to hide.  No matter how tough the road or the press have been, he stays consistent.  The best thing that a leader can do is stay consistent.  For this, I must agree with this article.050617_batman_vmed_5pwidecWhere I disagree with this article is the implied portrayal that he is somehow a ‘super hero’.   President Bush has had some major faults.  Border security and a lack of articulation of ideas haunt him the most.  President Bush has only done half of what is required to protect America.  The other half is to secure our position and reinforce our southern and northern borders.  Both from the violent, drug running Mexican gangs and potential terrorist that desire to kill as many Americans as possible. The author is correct about some of the virtues that are required by a competent leader.  President Bush has some of those.  Batman only has some of those.  Remember, Batman started as a vigilante to kill the gangsters that murdered his parents.  President Bush is not a vigilante, nor is Batman a leader of a nation.  But, yes.  Both strive through public scrutiny to achieve the greater moral good.  God bless them. Mexican Military Losing Drug War Support

Posted by Chandler On July - 25 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

border_fence1Damn it! Another $400 Million down the tubes! My favorite line is “The requirement (to verify that Mexico’s military is respecting human rights) was dropped at the insistence of Mexican officials, who said it would violate the country’s sovereignty.”

Mexico is a morally corrupt society with little to no chance of ever becoming anything more than a continued cesspool of violence and human suffering. That is why they all come here…including their cops!

This is some awesome video of the “new left” in this country. Notice the stereotypical rhetoric being thrown around like ‘racist’ and ‘facist’. One guy even claims that our culture is criminal. Again, all part of the Western Marxism movement to separate society from its culture to effect a “workers revolution”.

The United Nations

Posted by Chandler On July - 20 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

nov10abushun4When the League of Nations of 1919 and later the United Nations of 1946 came to fruition, many people championed their ideas and debated their concepts. The hope was to have a forum for all the nations of the world to address each other and resolve their differences without war. Who could ask for anything more? The only problem was, and still is; when put into practical application, this type of organization doesn’t work very efficiently, if at all.It is a shame that negative-aspects of human-nature have made the United Nations a laughing stock, while attempting to be a force of good. The corruption that some of the members states have demonstrated, rival anything that even the Mafia could establish. From the Oil for Food fiasco in Iraq, to the endless debacles in the continent of Africa, the ineptitude runs deep. If the United Nations endorses any program, I am immediately suspect due to the failure-laden track record they possess.

If you haven’t read much about the United Nations, I advise you do so. They are corrupt and incompetent to the greatest extent. The U.N. epitomizes the corruption, incompetence and unaccountability that government can become. The U.N. is a shining example of why I recommend local government solve most problems. In simple terms, all politics is local, therefore solve problems at the local level.

There is also the problem of accountability with the U.N. To whom is the United Nations accountable? This is a problem inherent with large governmental organizations. Example; if a corporation was run as inept as the United Nations, it would go out of business very quickly and the CEO and its high-level managers would probably never be hired again. Yet, when governmental organizations like the U.N. fail miserably, they aren’t held accountable. They usually give us some “song and dance” about not having enough money to make the program work correctly. Is this the fault of the people who are being governed or the governmental organization? If the people let this happen to them, without any objection, then the old saying of, “the people get the government that they deserve,” is true.

We have many faith-based organizations in the world that could take the place of the United Nations today.

The United Nations is a sorry testimony to how corrupt and ineffective governmental bureaucracies have become.

4. Westboro Baptist Church – Oh my God!  Not again?!
5. Mack Associates Inc. – They should lose all of their restaurants!

The Blue Falcon of the Week

bluefalconHere is the Blue Falcon for this week, July 19th, 2008:

Robert Benavidez!  Come on down!  You are the next dumbass to be awarded the coveted Blue Falcon of the Week!

You see, it all started on October 5th, 2005 when Benavidez’s cousin, Sergio Maldonado, who was believed to have been the North Texas “cell leader” for the Zetas, the ruthless enforcement arm of Mexico’s Gulf Cartel drug smuggling operation, was taped by federal agents claiming that his cousin ran some plate on a car in front of an apartment earlier that day.

The vehicle was a government vehicle on surveillance of the apartment for suspicion of known drug smugglers operating inside.

When agents did a search of the computers in the sheriff’s office, they found that Benavidez had been helping his cousin.  What a way to kill a perfectly good career in law enforcement!

Illegal Immigration

Posted by Marc On July - 14 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

amnesty-seeking-illegal-aliens1The Conventional Wisdom is that illegal immigrants take jobs that Americans don’t want. I think this is an erroneous statement. I believe that legal immigrants take jobs that second-generation Americans and beyond won’t take. In our history, when legal immigrants come to our country, if they didn’t have a profession prior to coming to America, they take whatever job they can to support their families. A legal immigrants’ goal is to live the American dream. They take whatever job they can so that their children can get a good education and then take a step up the socio-economic ladder. Legal immigrants don’t aspire to have their children work as housekeepers at local hotels. They take those jobs so that their children can get an education then manage the hotel.

What seems to be “lost in this discussion” is, “what about the word illegal do you not understand?” When illegal immigrants take jobs that legal immigrants and young Americans entering the work force would take, our country is adversely affected. (When was the last time you saw a neighborhood boy cut our local lawns for a few dollars?) There is a multitude of negative affects. Employing illegal immigrants takes money out of our economy, because the money being earned is sent back to the illegal immigrants home country. Many times due to the illegal aspect of their employment status, the laborers are paid cash without taxes being deducted. Ultimately, illegal immigrants, as well as their families, take advantage of our social services without contributing to these social networks.

The truth of this discussion seems to be avoided by those that encourage illegal immigration by charging those opposed to illegal immigration with racism. Racism has nothing to do with the issue of illegal immigration. People opposed to illegal immigration are opposed to anyone that enters the country illegally. At this current time, the largest group of illegal immigrants come through the Southern border of the United States. There are organizations in America, such as the National Council of La Raza, which itself is a racist organization. La Raza opposes the passing of laws against illegal immigration and enforcement while encouraging illegal immigration. Go to their website to see what laws they are opposed to.

Furthermore, La Raza is opposed to organizations such as The Minutemen. Go to The Minutemen’s web site and see what laws they support. By viewing these two web sites, you’ll see that one organization is against laws to enforce illegal immigration, and one organization is assisting with the enforcement of laws against illegal immigration. You make the call. I think Common Sense says that the National Council of La Raza is wrong.

Mr. Shaw appeared on the July 12th show to talk about Jamiel’s Law and the death of his son, Jamiel Shaw Jr. Jamiel’s Law will force the City of Los Angeles to inquire into the immigration status of everyone that is arrested on gang related crimes.

Jamiel’s Law, you can help!

Posted by Howie On July - 12 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

jamielshawJamiel Shaw Jr. was shot and killed by an illegal alien gangbanger on March 2nd, 2008.  Jamiel was walking home from the mall when 19 year old, Pedro Espinoza, confronted Jamiel and asked him “where he was from”, a term used to question gang affiliation.  Pedro Espinoza was released from jail the day before the shooting.  A 1979 police order bars officers from enforcing federal immigration laws.  Jamiel’s Law could change that within the City of Los Angeles.

We are asking you to support the Shaw family and sign the petition .

Mr. Ted Hayes, a Congressional candidate for the 35th District of California, has been a leader on this issue.  We are asking that you support him as well.  You can learn more about Mr. Hayes here at his website.

You can read more about Jamiel’s Law at their website .

The Blue Falcon of the Week

bluefalcon1Here is the Blue Falcon for this week, July 12th, 2008:

The coveted Blue Falcon award goes to the Anthony Cuomo.

I agree with this article that Hess is heinously wrong to trump up charges to fire employees.  But I disagree that Hess should create a corporate policy to train their employees to be curtious to Spanish speaking people.  We speak English in this country!!

This could set a dangerous precident for future attacks on our national language.
